Facilitator / Assessor
MICT SETA
A well-established corporate company is seeking a skilled and efficient candidate to fill the position of a Facilitator / Assessor for their skills development division in the Westrand region. Key responsibilities:
• Compile and administer Training documents
• Create effective roll-out plans
• Create effective project plans
• Accurate data capturing and checking of correct training documentation for staff
• Create an effective filing system
• Accurate updating of database
• Ensure effective correspondence via telephone, email or any other
• Planning and booking of venues
• General Admin duties i.e. minute taking, ordering of stationery etc.
• Reporting done accurately and timeously
• Arrange polygraphs for learners when necessary
• Accurate SETA reports and uploads on SETA system
• Assessor / Moderator registrations admin
• Accreditation: all policies updated and reviewed when necessary
• Ensure learners are informed and know where to attend workshops
• Schedule workshops to accommodate operational needs where possible
• Prepare and ensure guides are given to learners
• Assist learners where necessary
• One on one sessions with learners where necessary
• Make catering arrangements
• Ensure training facilities are conducive to learning
• Develop training manuals upon instruction when necessary
• Facilitating function for internal training
• Accurate assessment function for training sessions
• Certificates administration and management
• Winsms for staff and learners
• Moderation function (if qualified moderator)
• Problem solving for the training division
• Safekeeping of POE’s
• Attend workshops
• Provide feedback
• Manage queries and concerns with urgency
• Investigate learner requests
• Record feedback
• Ensure WR Seta and company requirements and deadlines met
• Liaise with training providers / external companies
Minimum Requirements
• Matric
• Accredited / Registered Facilitators/Assessors from NQF Level 2 – 5 with the MICT SETA
• MS Office Intermediate Level
• Formal NQF level 5 qualification: Assess outcomes based education
• Proven experience of 2 years with the facilitator
• Proven experience of 2 years of the assessment
• Own vehicle (Driver’s license)
• At least 3 years administrative experience
• An advantage would be “Moderate outcomes based education” qualification
